antisocial media feed
/\_/\
( -.- ) nothing new in the feed. time to touch grass.
> ^ <
rss is like a newsletter for websites. every site with a feed — news,
blogs, articles, magazines sends them your reader,
newest on top. you pick the sources, nothing is
recommended at you, and everything is chronological.

get reading
-
ask us for
an account, then log in at
rss.solarcat.eu.
-
subscribe: click subscriptions → add a feed
(or the + button) and paste a website address — freshrss
finds the feed for you.
-
organize: on the subscriptions page, drag feeds into
categories. do it how you want to. it's yours.
-
be ruthless with mark as read ;D
read on your phone
-
freshrss uses an API to talk to any app:
on iphone I use Unread
but there are lots of apps to choose from :)
-
in the app, pick the freshrss (or "greader") login
and enter: server
https://rss.solarcat.eu/api/greader.php,
your username and password.
-
if the app refuses to log in, let me know!
sites with no feed?
-
that's what rss-bridge is for —
it makes feeds for sites that refuse to have them.
